A private hire golfing gem in Essex

This picturesque and exclusive private nine hole course, established in 1953, is the perfect venue for a round of golf. Braxted Park Golf Club welcomes corporate groups throughout the year to hire the course and enjoy exclusive access to our beautifully maintained, parkland course with excellent views of the stunning Braxted Park Estate.

Your event can be fully catered. We have an extensive menu and our team will be happy to help tailor the day to your requirements. We can also arrange longest drive and nearest the pin holes and we’re happy to provide you with markers and advise you in selecting the best holes for these competitions.

A good drive followed by a well struck second leaves a medium to short iron to a green protected on the left by a greenside bunker and an open ditch awaits the pushed shot.

A short par 4 with a left to right dogleg. The green is protected by bunkers left and right. A ball landing on the back of the green leaves a fast downhill putt.

A short par 3 played from an elevated tee. Two bunkers in front of the green await the under hit shot. A good tee shot sets up a birdie chance.

A large Oak tree guards the left hand side of the green. The green is two tier and depending where the pin is positioned a 2 putt is not guaranteed.

This hole, although a Par 4, has a unique shape and is unreachable in two by the average club golfer. It requires a good drive to the end of the fairway, followed by a second over the road leaving a medium to short iron to a green protected by two green side bunkers to the left.

The green is long but narrow and is protected by two bunkers left and right.

This hole has a severe dogleg right to left. With a woodland down the left hand side of the fairway a tee shot of 160/170 yards is required to leave a clear view of the green. The green is elevated and protected by bunkers left and right.

A solid drive is required followed by a second shot which avoids two large Chestnut trees in the centre of the fairway. The third shot is to convex green.
